Open Christian University is a transnational provider of Christian higher education, formed under the laws of the United States as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt religious corporation.
Open Christian University has been working in Zambia since 2021, in partnership with the Government of Zambia and local stakeholders. The university was incorporated in Zambia as an institution of higher learning through the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA), under the name of Open Christian University of Business & Theology, with the company registration number 120210023656 and Taxpayer ID: 2003944820
The OCU proposed campus is in West Wing, Cairo Road, Lusaka, Lusaka province, Zambia was licensed to provide activities of higher education and other educational support services per the ISIC classification approved by the Zambian Government.
